About the Author

Janet Hasselbring resides in Spring Lake, Michigan, near Hoffmaster State Park and Lake Michigan. She now spends winters in Sarasota, Florida, where she finds the inspiration for her Pelican Cove stories. She has three grown children and four grandchildren, ages two and nine. She enjoys tennis, mahjongg, Scrabble, reading, biking, walking, and hiking, and volunteering at schools and nursing and hospice centers with her hospice therapy dog, Max. A favorite pastime is enjoying the birds and wildlife of Florida. She is a retired educator and musician.
