About the Author

Field & Stream editor-at-large T. Edward Nickens has paddled, backpacked, hunted, and fished from the rainforest to the Arctic Sea. Winner of more than two dozen national writing awards, he is TV host for the Total Outdoorsman Challenge. In this book, he shares his wisdom and that of Field & Stream's outdoor experts and featured guides.

Brad Fenson is an avid lifelong outdoorsman, writer, and photographer based in Alberta, Canada. He has traveled extensively across North America hunting and fishing, and collecting incredible photographs and story ideas in the field for some 100 or so days each year. His writing and photography have appeared in Field & Stream magazine as well as on fieldandstream.com, and in many publications across Canada and throughout the United States.
