About the Author

Jim Yonker was born and raised in St. Louis County, Missouri, the son of a man who lived through the Great Depression and ended up finding his life's true calling with the railroad. He handed down this love to his children and it has been a timeless gift that still inspires. Jim credits his high school Senior English college-prep class, his favorite throughout school, and its teacher with inspiring his interest in reading and exploring points of view.
