About the Author

Dr Allison Littlejohn is an academic member of the Centre for Academic Practice at the University of Strathclyde in Glasgow, UK, specializing in e-learning. She directs the university's continuing professional development programme in Information and Communications Technologies for Learning and Teaching and leads the university's Computer Enhanced Learning and Teaching (CELT) research forum. Fred Lockwood is Professor of Learning and Teaching and Director of the Learning and Teaching Unit at Manchester Metropolitan University, UK.
