"Artful and inventive, de Simone's slim volume has big ideas. A thoughtful parable that packs a wallop. Stylish illustrations by Annette Lee send it home." -Rita Plush, Book Reviewer, "Fire Island News" "With sardonic wit and verse that possesses a sly musicality, Joanne de Simone creates a cautionary tale for readers of all ages and eras. It is a dark and beautifully illustrated fable crafted to engage and surprise its audience." -Mindy Kronenberg, author, professor, and publisher of Book/Mark Quarterly Review
