I was born in a little village in Easington, Yorkshire in England on March 26, 1946. My mom was a war bride from the east end of London. She was called a cockney. Dad was a farm boy from Wisconsin. He was on the B-17 and B-26 aircrafts during the war. He was one of the few that never got hurt but he did have to bail out of a B-17 on three different occasions. He was never interned in a Powcamp. This book is about our four years in England during the 1950s.
