Reviews

?Moanin' Low is a comprehensive catalog of recordings in English by female vocalists between January 1920 and December, 1933, a time of rapid evolution in American popular music....this compilation represents the first discography to treat the great number of vocalists who have become obscure with the passage of time....this volume will prove of great value to historians of popular music...?-Choice
