About the Author

Stacey Schroepfer Schlegl is proud of her daughter. My daughter, Abby, wrote this novel when she was in 3rd grade and then I had the idea of us building on it together as a mother-daughter team. I love the book but I love more the time I was able to spend with my daughter doing something we both love. This novel made her want to be a writer and illustrator. She received a full scholarship to St. Louis University and a 40,000 art scholarship, all because she found a love for art and writing.
