About the Author

Akhand Akhtar Hossain is currently Visiting Research Fellow at the Research School of Pacific and Asian Studies, Australian National University. His current research interests include money demand and inflation in the Asia-Pacific, and macroeconomic and monetary policy issues in Bangladesh and Indonesia.
