Arthur Braverman went to Japan to study Zen at its source in the early 1960's, concentrating his pracice at the small temple of Antaiji. He is also a translator of Zen literature, whose published translations include A Quiet Room: The poetry of Zen Master Jakushitsu and Mud and Water: The Teachings of Zen Master Bassui.
