Margaret Miller is the author and photographer of many books for children. My Five Senses was chosen as an "Outstanding Science Trade Book for Children" in 1995, and was a Booklist "Editor's Choice" selection for 1994. PreS-These two board books are perfect for holding the interest of toddlers. The pictures include large, color photographs of babies and objects that take up the entire page. In Colors, each two-page spread features simple phrases ("green ring," "purple glasses") printed on vibrantly colored pages on the left, with a close-up shot of a baby on the right. In My Bear, babies are shown playing different games with their teddies, accompanied by short phrases such as "peekaboo bear" or "huggable bear."
