Danielle Patenaude was a preschool and elementary school teacher for 20 years before moving to the literary world. She began as a copy editor and proofreader in academic publishing, and then turned to writing and adapting works for young people. She is the author of Caillou Goes Apple Picking and Caillou Asks Nicely. Montreal-based illustrator Jonathan Miller has a passion for illustrating and designing products for kids. His bold, colorful drawings have an appealing simplicity that captivates and delights young readers.
