About the Author

Mark Montano joined the design team of The Learning Channel's "While You Were Out" in 2003, one of the most established home redesign shows on television. Living and working from his mantra of "creativity can be fun", fashion and interior design guru Mark Montano has the contagious ability to inspire women, teens and makeover fans across the country to express them. He grew up in La Junta, Colorado, attended Fashion Institute of Technology, and interned at Oscar de la Renta. This inspired him to begin his own fashion line and open his own boutique in the East Village. He is the youngest member ever to be inducted into the Council of Fashion Designers of America.
