An illustrated gift book of the famous poem 'Do Not Stand at My Grave and Weep' offering a message of comfort and hope to the bereaved
The author of 'Do Not Stand at My Grave and Weep' remains unknown, though several people have been suggested. These include Mary Elizabeth Frye and J.T.Wiggins, an Englishman who emigrated to the USA at the end of the nineteenth century.
When my son very sadly passed away, I found this poem on the
internet and loved the words so much that I decided to read it
after the funeral service. The congregation gathered outside the
church and doves were released as I read the words. It was a
beautiful experience on an unbearably sad day, so when I found this
little book on Amazon I had to buy it. It is so beautifully
illustrated and I frequently read it and think of my wonderful
son.

When I saw this book, I thought what a lovely little treasure. The
illustrations are very uplifting. It is food for the soul. Being a
spiritual person I find this book a little piece of calm in times
of sadness. The thought of losing someone who is very dear to you
causes sadness, but hopefully the words and pictures in this book
will help you to see that although your loved ones are no longer in
the physical world they are never really far away from you. I hope
this little book will be of great comfort to you in your time of
loss.
