About the Author


Tom Carpenteris the Charles J. Ping Professor of Humanities and Distinguished Professor of Classics at Ohio University. He is the author of numerous books and articles on Greek iconography.

Elizabeth Langridge-Notiis an associate professor of archaeology and classical studies at DEREE, The American College of Greece in Athens, Greece and co-founder of the Pottery in Context Network. She has published on Greek pottery from the Archaic through the Hellenistic periods.

Mark D. Stansbury-O'Donnellis professor of art history at the University of St. Thomas, Minnesota. His books include Looking at Greek Art , and A History of Greek Art.
