Attended as a member of Steve Harrison’s Quantum Leap program,
which specializes in publicity in radio, print and TV mediums.
Radio: We were invited guests on 13 radio shows during our beta
testing of our books and will now increase our radio exposure
through 2016, 2017 and beyond.
TV: Infomercial which co-marketed our books together with primary
product. From next National Publicity Summit, we will focus on TV
news and entertainment.
Newspaper: San Jose papers have run full article on our books 2016.
Press releases will be issued to major papers, but also target
local papers as well.
Christian Specific: Our local Catholic diocese of Santa Clara
county is running a full article on our books fall of 2016. In
addition, we will then spread through San Francisco and Oakland
diocese’s and beyond thereafter.
Social Media: Facebook, Twitter, YouTube and Instagram. We have
just hit the 1000 mark with Instagram “organically”. We post daily
and word is spreading quickly. We just hired a video specialist to
create YouTube content with the purpose of creating viral type
videos for brand awareness of our books.
Brick and Mortar: During our beta testing over prior 6 months, our
books are in 12 stores in the SF Bay Area and have set multiple
records at many of the stores: Emily Joubert Home & Garden
boutique, Woodside, CA. sells about 30 per month. Butter Paddle
boutique, Los Gatos, CA sold 72 in one day. Barnes & Noble San Jose
set a record with 145 sold in a single signing day and continue to
sell as fast as the most popular children’s books. (per Bus.
Development team)
Book Signings: Our retailers are constantly asking for more book
signings due to our volume of sales. On average, our signings at
boutique stores sell between 35-70 books. At Barnes & Noble it’s
been 80-145.
Speaking: During beta testing period, we spoke at Rotary Club San
Jose, EMQ Families First, and National Association of Hispanic
Realtors. We are now scheduled to speak at Churches in the Oakland,
CA area where we have connections with over 100 pastors. In
addition, we will aggressively market various children, teaching,
family and toddler organizations as well as the many Christian
organizations.
Direct Marketing: As we offer free e-books, we capture emails both
from our website and during book signings. These names, as well as
thousands of purchased names from targeted groups, go into our
MailChimp software so we can inform potential buyers of our new
releases via email.
Advertising: We will advertise in the Spring 2017 Munce catalog. In
addition, we will have continuous advertising blitzes on Facebook
with direct targeting of young parents and grandparents.
Underserved Communities: We have created a separate marketing plan
targeting underserved communities whereby the books are funded by
local benefactors, but distributed by local churches, community
centers, schools, and other places of worship. This will be piloted
in Oakland, CA. We fill this will provide a “bottom up” affect vs.
the typical top down. In addition, as word spreads of our
intentions, media will quickly follow.
Children Psychologists: We have reached out to build a list of
children psychologists who will recommend our books and allow us to
put
their names on our website. This will provide strong support for
those parents who look for such endorsements.
