About the Author

Now resident in New York, Jennie Morton began her career as a Ballet dancer before moving into musical theater and still works as a professional singer. She is now an Osteopath specializing in the treatment of performing artists as well as coaching performers from student to elite levels. She uses her detailed anatomical knowledge to optimize performance and reduce injury risk. She is an Honorary Lecturer for the M.Sc. in Performing Arts Medicine at University College, London, Chair of the Membership Committee for the UK's Performing Arts Medicine Association (PAMA), sits on the Education and Training Advisory Group for the British Association for Performing Arts Medicine (BAPAM) and the Health and Wellness Committee for the International Society for Music Education (ISME).
