About the Author

Sara Munson Deats is Distinguished University Professor of English at the University of South Florida. She has published seven books, including Sex, Gender, and Desire in the Plays of Christopher Marlowe (1997); Marlowe's Empery: Augmenting His Critical Contexts (co-edited with Robert Logan, 2002); and five co-edited books examining the relationship of literature to social issues.
