The Nerf n-strike Stampede is an awesome and defestating weapon to have on the battlefield.
The 18-dart clips really help when taking out enemies, also it can fit different styles of clips.
The only bad thing about this gun is that to fire it,is to get 6 D batteries and load them into the back end of the gun.
Overall its a great gun and is much better than the Nerf Vulcan.

my rating would be epic but it goes to 5

i got this a few days ago and got home and my mate was over with his alpha trooper that he got the same day that i got the stampede, that was a fun night, it comes in handy as a full auto, to ensure you are not being strained with the weight i put the bipod on the side rail and i can use it better with a drum or extended clip, the fact that it come with the 4 clip's 3 18's and a 6, and the 60 darts to load them with makes this worth every cent.

my collection Raider CS-35, X2 Recon CS-6, Alpha TrooperCS-18, X2 Maverick REV-6, Switchshot EX-3.

Pre-ordered this and was very happy with it when it arrived. I had read a lot of reviews from the US from some people that had bought it early etc. But when you actually have it in your hands and unleashing some dart fury on your friends - it is then you realise how good it is!

This is coming from a 20-something year old guy who has a few of the Nerf guns - so this is not just for kids. As some of the other reviews have said, it is weighty, so kids may have trouble with it.

The Rate of Fire is good (3/Second) and most of the time the darts shoot at straight. Sometimes the dart will go sideways or seem like it misfired but I have realised that not all my darts are 'new'. as with any nerf gun, if you use mangled darts, it dramatically affects the range/power of it when being shot. Funny thing about ROF is that even though its 3/second - the Raider can still shoot faster thanks to it's Slam Fire mode.

Distance is probably slightly better then a stock Recon. If you use 'stefan' darts then as with all the other guns, the range is improved about 30-40%. Worth a look.

18 dart clips are fantastic but it doesn't take long to unload them in the Stampede. Lucky they give you 3 of them! Alternatively and probably a better suggestion is to use the Nerf Raider Drum, which holds 35. This is a lot more fun!

The accessories it comes with (bipod and riot shield) are not bad. Riot shield is a bit of a novelty but can fit on other guns (Put it on the raider and your face is completely protected!). The Bipod is more useful as it helps as a foregrip to handle the stampede.

All in all, I would recommend this gun regardless if you're a kid or an adult. Both will enjoy this and have just as much fun. Only downside is that is cost $100. Such is the price of fun in shooting your friends!

Awesome gun - but chews through the batteries! I ended up buying some rechargable D size batteries (Don't get Energizers, they are AA in a D size shell - google this for more info). I also got a charger for it so all this triped the price of this gun. :) Anyhow beats paying $20 a pop to replace and I can user them for other things.

As others have mentioned - use good quality darts. Any bent ones are likely to misfire or tear in the mechanism.

Where's that cat....?

1 quick reload clip normal
60 darts
A scope:not adjustable
a blast shield
3 quick reload clip long
Shoots 20-50 feet long
Requires battery

My brother have this gun he thinks it cool as cool can be. He hasn't even let me touch it because he think I will destroy it.

I give it a 9-10

very good, it comes with all the clips you need, and is full auto, but is easy to dodge, as there is a significant delay between pulling the trigger, and the gun firing. still good for showering people with darts, and keeping them down:)

I have to reserve my review on the above as it is a March birthday present for my grandson and thus is still in it's box. I'm sure it will be rated by my grandson's smile when he tears off the wrapper.

The add is uncertain. Is the gun new or used? Does it cost $64.99 or $140.00? (Add says: New or Used: 6 copies from $140.00)
Other Information: 946650790 I can't buy this because I can't tell what I'll be getting or how much it will cost.
