Vancouver's Bison B.C. don't have time for music that isn't heavy, and, true to form, QUIET EARTH is a monster of pummeling riffs. Both the faster, hardcore-influenced numbers like "Dark Towers" and the giant lizard stomp of "Slow Hand of Death" have a place in Bison's world. Even mournful strings find a home in the epic "Wendigo Pt. 1" Much too alert to be called stoner metal, there's still a kind of haze around QUIET EARTH.
