About the Author

Brian Michael Good an Author - Writer - Entrepreneur - Genius - Autistic - Empath - Savant. Author website: www.BrianMichaelGood.com I have lived a life buffeted by character-altering hurricanes. My life storms began in my trauma-filled childhood within my dysfunctional family. My childhood was filled with tension, excessive discipline, and yelling - at home and at grammar school - contributed to a lower self-esteem and academic performance during my formative developmental years. Yelling and corporal punishment instilled fear in me. I carried such sentiments and emotional trauma with me into adulthood. I accepted the abuse that I allowed others to bestow on me. It took me a lifetime to discover that I was a Genius, Autistic, Empath, and Savant. I survived a childhood of verbal, physical, and sexual abuse; dealt with depression, PTSD, the death of two siblings. A bit further on in life, there was the stigma of being homeless not once, but three times, and bankruptcy two times. I was also diagnosed with a six-pound cancerous tumor that was doubling in size every two months. A suicide attempt in 2003 nearly cost me my life. The death of my best friend, three divorces, and the rejection of my only daughter was to follow, Psychics and people of faith say that we all come back, and some of us come back to teach a lesson. The homeless person on the street has sacrificed their life to teach compassion and tolerance to others. The homeless person, if he or she would know this, might ask, why should I try to improve my life if I came back to suffer to teach this lesson? The answer is that if one is spiritual, the suffering is only part of the lesson. The most important part is to overcome. We must examine our flaws and try to fix them. Then, in the next chapter of our life, we come back to a better existence. How can one man encounter so many hurricanes, survive them, learn from them, and then strive to make the world around him a better place? This was the question Brian asked himself that led to this book. I have a deep sense of compassion and empathy for others; social virtues that I value most in my life. What I have learned from my personal experiences can give you hope. You are not alone and you are not forgotten. Your life will improve. Peace and happiness are reserved for those who seek it. A book is food for thought... By reading a well written book you will reap pearls of wisdom and have a lifetime of meals.

5.0 of 5.0 stars A truly enlightening experience P.M. Thomas on August 14, 5 "This truly enlightening and truly uplifting book is a vital read for all in need of that all important RESET in their lives, to push that button and start from a whole new beginning, this time with no negativity or sadness, but instead with positivity and happiness as it gives you the knowledge to be confident in yourself, to have the courage within to do anything and the strength to carry out every activity in life to the best of your abilities, never giving up because you have the power in your heart and soul to overcome any obstacle and succeed. "Clear it of all thoughts, purge it of any trace of negativity, don't fuel that fire, instead let it fade away. Fade away into emptiness. Let positivity enter your life. Forget about the past, it is a distant memory now, vague like a dream. Ignore thoughts about the future, tomorrow is another day that is far from ones grasp, what will happen will happen naturally. Concentrate your energy on today, the here and now, this moment right here. You are still among the planet, living, what hasn't killed you will make you stronger. Don't regret the mistakes made in the past, don't wallow in pity. Grow each day and learn to better yourself, know to not commit the same error twice. If your pieces have fallen down, pick them back up and build them sturdier than before. If you've been hurt by a wound, heal it. No wound can withstand the healing power of the human spirit. It can take anything, all of the bends life throws at it and never break. Think there is no such thing as a second chance, stop that thinking right this minute, there is always an opportunity to make it up with a second chance for there is hope for everyone, nothing is ever hopeless. Purify your body and your soul, tear away the remains of yesterday, emerge from your cocoon, reborn as a brand new human being with no worries, no pain, no sadness. Only peace, harmony and happiness. You are free." Reset is a very important book to purchase to set you on the right path and give you the light of virtue you need. I highly recommend it." 5.0 out of 5.0 stars To hell and back Denniger Bolton September 25, 2015 "Every so often I run across a book that really moves me. Reset by Brian Michael Good is one such book. If I have to guess the theme of this book it would be that we must examine our flaws and work on fixing them. It's a part Be Here Now with an I Did It And So Can You. When you try to view the future too much, it can cause anxiety, but when you live in the Now it makes you feel right, glad to be living in the moment. And this is a man who has been homeless, tried and failed to commit suicide, lost jobs, been evicted, been abused, been depressed, had self-inflicted problems for much of his life, and yet he turned it all around. How did he live through what he calls the hurricanes of his life and still turn out okay. More than okay actually. Okay enough to help others who are going through similar situations, conquer their fears and overcome their depression. This is not an easy book to read because of all the hurricanes in Brian's life, but the fact that he got through it back to sunny skies makes it well worth reading. If you have a problem in your life, if you're depressed or scared, I wish you to read this book from a man who's literally been through it all and can help you with it." 5.0 of 5 stars Wow, very inspiring Hayden Charles September 25,15 This book is a real eye opener. It reminds you to cherish life and think more positively. No matter how bad you think you have it, someone else is going through something worse. After reading this book, I have been inspired to maintain a positive mental attitude on life. If you are feeling like life has you down, then I highly recommend this book for you!
