J. M. Coetzee (Author)
J. M. Coetzee was the first author to win the Booker Prize twice
and was awarded the Nobel Prize for Literature in 2003. His work
includes Waiting for the Barbarians, Life and Times of Michael K,
The Master of Petersburg, Disgrace and Diary of a Bad Year. He
lives in Adelaide.
John Freeman (Introducer)
John Freeman is an award-winning writer and book critic who has
written for numerous
publications, including the New York Times Book Review, Los Angeles
Times, Guardian andWall Street Journal. He is the former editor of
Granta and the author of Shrinking the World and a collection of
author interviews How to Read a Novelist. He lives in New York City
